Perspectives - The international on-line conference on archaeological discoveries of Biblical significance.

What's on at Perspectives?

Perspectives is a BIG conference! There are several distinct types of sessions and forums at Perspectives:

Keynote Addresses
Keynote addresses are presented by invited ‘speakers’ only. This is the conference area to see exciting presentations on the latest developments on the Ark of the Covenant, as well as Noah’s Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Red Sea Crossing and Mount Sinai.

You will also find information from the current research of Jonathan Gray and Ron Wyatt as soon as it is made public.
Keynote addresses can take advantage of images and illustrations and possibly audio and video to help to convey the information.

Not all such addresses necessarily come from Jonathan Gray or Ron Wyatt. In fact, if you publish a paper that is particularly well researched and supported, you may well be invited to turn it into a keynote address. If you don’t have the technical skills or resources to prepare a content-rich presentation, the conference coordinator will be happy to assist.

Papers and Letters

Papers
Papers are invited from any conference delegate and can be on any topic. For example, the significance of the discoveries from your viewpoint, refuting or supporting the discoveries, arguing the accuracy of claims.

Submitting a paper
If you’ve got something you would like to share with the conference, please submit a paper. It doesn’t matter what your position or opinion is. All that we ask is that you present your opinions in a logical and rational manner. All papers are moderated, so blatant advertising, slander etc., will be rejected. You can use HTML tags to enhance the layout of your paper.

Letters
The letters section of the conference is the avenue share your excitement, anger, appreciation or any other thought in a less formal way than submitting a paper. The letters section is always monitored and occasionally moderated. As with Papers, submissions that are not in the spirit of the conference will be removed or rejected.

Plenary Sessions
Just like any good conference, the plenary sessions are the liveliest. There are two distinct kinds of Perspectives plenary sessions – ‘Questions and Answers’, and ‘Public Discussion Forums’.

Questions and Answers
This is your chance to ask questions of Jonathan Gray. In this plenary you can ask questions about any of the discoveries presented here at the centre (as verified personally by Jonathan) or in fact, about any of Gray’s own discoveries.
So, whatever your burning question, this is the place to ask it. Be sure to peruse past questions – quite possibly someone else has already asked a similar question.

Public Discussion Forums
The other plenary areas are public discussion forums. They are for ongoing debate on a wide range of subjects and topics. To help users to locate debate that interests them, discussions are grouped into ‘subjects’. If you believe another subject area is needed, just ask the conference coordinator. Any registered participant can begin a new topic (within a subject) at any time.

Typically in discussion forums, a topic is debated back and forth by anyone who wants to join in until the issue has been examined from all angles. In an on-line environment, it usually takes about two weeks to exhaust a topic, by which time everyone has already moved onto something else. Unlike a live conference, there can be many topics discussed at the same time at Perspectives.

The public discussion forums are monitored and occasionally moderated. By all means challenge other people’s views, but please be courteous to your fellow conference delegates.
